Gardiens of Naxos
Description
As head of the AR department, I spearheaded a project using Augmented Reality (AR) to showcase Naxos Island’s cultural heritage. I managed the project, led framework selection, and directed on-location implementation within a tight timeframe.
Following an agile approach, we quickly prototyped and chose Vuforia + Unity for efficient scanning of 12 remote locations. Collaborating with production, I ensured seamless scene transitions and asset integration.
Balancing development and management, I coordinated team efforts during our brief on-location presence. Our meticulous approach resulted in a successful AR hike, providing visitors a unique cultural experience.
